“ON US” SCHEDULE
One night per month, every month, “On Us” focuses energy, donations, and a spotlight on area nonprofits and initiatives. As part of our Taproots program, this series is our chance to directly give back, each and every month, to people and organizations doing incredible — and often unsung — work in the Lakes Area. In essence, this round, this night’s on us.
Each event runs from 6-8 p.m. and includes a short presentation by each organization. Additional materials and information will be made available. West O Beer is also committed to donating a portion of the day’s proceeds to each organization.
In 2022, On Us nights raised over $14,000 for 9 Lakes Area groups. The 2023 calendar with dates and organizations:
ON TAP
West O Beer’s “On Tap” program features beers brewed in collaboration with, and supporting area partners. From directly raising money to raising the profile of select Lakes Area initiatives, On Tap puts our beers directly where our heart is. Beers brewed at the source with collaboration and community in mind from step one.
Blue Canoe
Our latest beer collaboration — this one with Keep Okoboji Blue!
BLUE CANOE is an American Wheat Ale brewed with 2-Row Malt, White Wheat, Honey Malt, Cascade & Amarillo hops, and designed with our beautiful blue water lakes in mind. A portion of sales of this beer will help support Keep Okoboji Blue’s mission — “Keeping a clean water vision for future generations!”
The Legend Shandy
Named for the world-famous LEGEND rollercoaster at Arnolds Park Amusement Park, this cotton candy shandy helped steer West O Beer patrons to the Park’s fundraising efforts to restore the Legend!
Stay tuned for a new brew – and new Amusement Park collaboration this summer!

West O Beer is dedicated to supporting fundraising events out in the Lakes Area that clean, conserve, preserve, and showcase our home. Thru sporting tournament partnerships, fundraising event sponsorships, and more, “On the Ground” takes West O out to you.
